Ho Wood oil is also commonly referred to as ‘white camphor’ oil because it is a lighter grade and can be blended more easily than Ho Leaf.

 

Also, known as Chinese Rosewood, it has very similar properties to Rosewood and can be a replacement. Ho Wood Oil is also known as a “peaceful” oil, because of its calming effect.

PROPERTIES Analgesic, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, antispasmodic, hypotensive, immunostimulant, sedative.
SKIN: Linalool, the main active ingredient, is considered a chemical intermediate, which means it stimulates reactions in other substances. It is great for stimulating the growth of skin cells (used in the production of Vitamin E).
MIND: Has relaxing and has mild aphrodisiac properties. Can act as an anti-depressant and when facing major life changes and challenges.
BODY:  Acts as a mild analgesic and muscle relaxant.
BLENDS WELL WITH: Cedarwood, Bergamot, Lavender, Geranium, Neroli, Petiitgrain, Myrtle, and Cinnamon
MAIN CONSTITUENTS Linalol
CAUTION Dilute before use; for external use only. May cause skin irritation in some individuals; a skin test is recommended prior to use. Contact with eyes should be avoided.   Epileptics should avoid this oil.
