Frankincense (Boswellia Seratta) – Organic
£9.85
The frankincense Boswellia serrata, also known as olibanum, is among the richest and exquisite of the majestic frankincense varietals.
Wild-harvested in India, the aroma contains very fresh lemon, citrus, and pine notes.
As an oil distilled from wildcrafted gum resin, this oil tends to have a higher Alpha-thujene and Lower Alpha-pinene content compared to other premium quality Frankincense oils. The odour is somewhat sharper with a dry base note. This variety is particularly useful in massage oils, and lotion bases designed for dry and mature skin.
