Spearmint is often considered to be a sweeter version of peppermint. It has a very strong and distinct aroma. Although it has a strong aroma it is a much gentler oil than peppermint and is preferred for children. It has a fraction of menthol (around menthol 0.5%) compared to the peppermint (40%).
This oil is often used to alleviate fatigue, headaches, migraines, nervousness and digestive problems.
