Considered to be the King of Essential oils, Frankincense has a well known reputation. This variety of Frankincense Boswelia serrata is also known as olibanum and is among the richest and exquisite of the majestic frankincense varieties.
Wild-harvested in India, the aroma contains very fresh lemon, citrus, and pine notes. This oil tends to have a higher Alpha-thujene and Lower Alpha-pinene content compared to other premium quality Frankincense oils. The odour is somewhat sharper with a dry base note.
Reputed for having spiritual benefits and used in meditation blends. Frankincense also benefits the skin when applied topically. Can promote cellular health and boost immunity.
