Eucalyptus has a strong antiseptic and antifungal agent which helps to alleviate infection such as athlete’s foot, aching joints, nervousness, and respiratory problems. It is an extremely useful oil for vapour therapy, chest rubs and sprays to cleanse and protect the skin against scarring and blemishes.
Eucalyptus Globulus is by far the most popular of the Eucalyptus oils. In general, the only real difference between Eucalyptus essential oils is the aroma.
Eucalyptus Globulus has a strong, sharp, medicinal and fresh with green, aroma with sour undertones.
Eucalyptus Citrodora another favorite Eucalyptus is a little lemon-scented eucalyptus. It has a strong citronella like aroma with a sweet, balsamic undertone.
Lemon Eucalyptus Essential Oil contains approximately 80% citronellal, an aldehyde that is strongly responsible for its aroma, antimicrobial properties, and insect repellent capabilities.
