Eucalyptus Citriodora is also called lemon-scented eucalyptus. It has a strong citronella like aroma with a sweet, balsamic undertone. Eucalyptus has a strong antiseptic and antifungal agent which helps to alleviate infection such as athlete’s foot, aching joints, nervousness and respiratory problems. It is an extremely useful oil for vapour therapy, chest rubs and sprays to cleanse and protect the skin against scarring and blemishes.
Lemon Eucalyptus Essential Oil contains approximately 80% citronellal, an aldehyde that is strongly responsible for its aroma, antimicrobial properties and insect repellent capabilities.
