Carrot seed essential oil is extracted from the seed of the wild carrot or Queen Anne’s Lace and is different from the carrot carrier oil.
Carrot essential oil is best known for its effects on the skin. Its antioxidant properties of this oil are beneficial to reducing wrinkles, slowing balding and even greying. An oil frequently included in detoxifying baths and massages, this oil helps to eliminate toxins from the blood, tissues, muscles, and joints thereby helping to ease edema, arthritis, gout and rheumatism.
